How to become a Teacher!!!

N.T.T or Nursery Teacher Training - For this course, the candidates should have passed 12th (senior secondary) and the age should be in between 18 to 30 years. After completing this course, the candidates become eligible for teaching jobs in primary schools.
You want to go further then try for B.ED
The B. ED ( Bachelor of Education degree in Elementary Education) is designed to help teachers to develop the required pedagogical knowledge and skills to teach different subjects in elementary grades in in government and private schools. You can opt this course after completing your bachelors degress from a recognized university with 60% marks.
B.El.Ed or Bachelor of Elementary Education is a full-time undergraduate degree program, the duration of which is 4 years. The course trains candidates for teaching in elementary school which deals with students from 6 to 12 years of age.
M. Ed or Master of Education is a 2 year post graduate educational degree that can be completed within a maximum time span of 4 years. The M. Ed course structure is designed for potential educators and provides in-depth knowledge in the field of education and teaching.
D. El. Ed is a Diploma course in Elementary Education. It is a 2 year full time diploma course to train teachers for the primary level and can be done with classroom training or distance learning. It is a course for students who have completed 10+2 from a recognized board with 50% minimum marks. The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 35 years.
What I can do after
Eligibility to teach Middle School Level Teaching (TGT)For middle school (classes 6th to 10th) teaching, candidates should clear graduation with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university. Apart from this, candidates should also obtain a B.Ed degree.
Eligibility to High School Level Teaching (PGT)For high school (classes 9th to 12th) teaching, candidates should clear post-graduation from a recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks. Apart from this, candidates should also possess a B.Ed degree.
Eligibility to College/ University Level TeachingTo become a lecturer in colleges and universities candidates should possess a post-graduation or doctorate degree from a recognized university. Apart from this, candidates should also clear UGC NET exam. You can avail books from market for UGC Net.
